Just as I was about to leave for work today… my kitchen said, “Not so fast.”
A tiny drip turned into a full-blown aquatic disaster.
I threw every towel I own at it like I was fighting some kind of water-type boss battle.
The towels lost. The socks were soaked. My will to commute? Defeated. 🫠
So yes, I had to surrender and cancel today’s shift.
If you were planning to see me today—I’m sorry! Blame the plumbing gods.
Next shift: June 20, assuming my apartment doesn’t turn into a water park again.
