Last night, I was wrapped in a quiet kind of luxury
a gentle evening at Hotel Chinzanso, where time seems to slow. I sat down to a delicate vegetarian kaiseki, each dish like a whisper from nature, telling stories through colors, textures, and silence. After the final cup of warm tea, I wandered into the garden, drawn by the soft hum of summer. And there they were fireflies. Tiny lanterns floating in the dark, flickering like fleeting wishes, vanishing before the eye could truly hold them. It was my first time seeing them and in that moment, the world grew still. A fleeting encounter with beauty, unfolding quietly beneath the trees.
