Before work I went to vote in the election.

I truly hope for a future Japan built not on hatred, exclusion, or aggression, but on peace, kindness, compassion, and love.

Even if society doesn’t change overnight, I believe that with time, little by little, things do start to move.

Our country isn’t one where society is overturned in a single night like a revolution.

Instead, I believe Japan changes quietly and steadily like water slowly seeping into the earth gently, but surely.
