Hello,HENTAI gentlemen. Thank you for visiting!
The Sannō Festival was held from August 1st to 3rd.
This year’s festival was also full of energy, and it seemed that even more people participated compared to last year.
Here are some photos I took during the festival.
I took this photo of the mikoshi parade from a pedestrian bridge.
↑Noh Performance – Traditional Japanese Culture
My stay was short, so I wasn’t able to take many photos・・・
Japanese festivals, called “matsuri”, have their roots in ancient religious rituals meant to honor gods, spirits, and nature. These festivals were traditionally held at shrines and temples to pray for good harvests, health, and protection for families.
Today, matsuri are not only religious but also colorful celebrations of local culture and community life. You might see portable shrines (mikoshi) carried through the streets, traditional music with drums and flutes, food stalls, parades, and fireworks.
Many festivals take place in spring and summer, offering a great opportunity to experience the lively and joyful side of Japanese culture. Both locals and tourists can join the fun and feel the spirit of the season.
If you’re visiting Japan during this hot summer, joining a festival is an absolute must!
